Tim Keane & W. Kent Lorenz Join First Business Bank Board of Directors

MILWAUKEE, WI, – Aug. 2, 2017 – First Business Financial Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: FBIZ) announces the appointment of Tim Keane and W. Kent Lorenz to the First Business Bank Board of Directors. Tim and Kent bring strong Milwaukee representation to the board, which was formed after the holding company consolidated its three bank charters into one. They previously served on First Business Bank – Milwaukee Board, which dissolved on June 1. Tim and Kent are members of First Business Bank’s Milwaukee Region Advisory Board, and Tim is a member of the bank’s Kansas City Region Advisory Board, as well.

Tim Keane, Director of Golden Angels Investors, LLC, manages investments for the group, and was the founder and CEO of Retail Target Marketing Systems (RTMS), now a unit of Fidelity Information Services. RTMS pioneered the use of consumer data to increase marketing efficiency for large, national retailers, including Boston Store, Bon-Ton, Sears Canada, Kohl’s, GNC, Kay’s Jewelers and other national and regional brands.

Through an acquisition in 1999, RTMS expanded its offering to hundreds of financial institutions. He is a board director of five growth stage companies. Tim is a limited partner in several venture and private equity funds and provides data analytics strategy consulting services to a small group of companies. He led entrepreneurship programs and taught MBA classes at Marquette University for 15 years.

Kent Lorenz recently retired as Chairman and CEO of Acieta LLC, a provider of advanced industrial robotic automation systems to North American manufacturers and their global affiliates. He is the Managing Partner of DKR Investors LLC, a commercial real estate investment company based in Pewaukee, Wis., and was appointed in 2014 to serve on the Wisconsin Technical College System Board of Directors where he currently serves as Board Secretary. Kent also serves on the advisory board of Essential Industries in Merton, Wis., and is an advisor to UW Madison-based startup C-Motive.

In the local community, Kent serves on the Western Lakes Fire District Board of Directors as their Treasurer and on the Advisory Board for Pewaukee High School’s “Project Lead the Way” program. Kent has also served on the United Way of Waukesha and Milwaukee’s Cabinet Committee for the past three years. He is the past Chairman of the Manufacturing Executive Committee for the Waukesha County Business Alliance.
