First Business Bank Welcomes Joe Kobussen & Dr. Lee Vogel To Northeast Wisconsin Advisory Board

APPLETON, WI – September 23, 2019 – First Business Bank, part of First Business Financial Services, Inc., today announces Joe Kobussen and Dr. Lee Vogel joined its Northeast Wisconsin Market Advisory Board of Directors.

“We’re thrilled that these two highly respected authorities are joining our Advisory Board,” said Rick Hearden, President of First Business Bank’s Northeast Wisconsin Market. “Their reputation and experience in the transportation and healthcare industries are significantly valuable to us as we continue to develop our expertise serving clients in these industries.”

Joe Kobussen, President of Kobussen Buses Ltd., is a 3rd-generation family member managing Kobussen Buses Ltd., a passenger transportation company operating more than 800 school buses, 33 motor coaches, and 33 paratransit and transit vehicles with more than 1000 employees. Joe began his career with Kobussen in 1983, as a mechanic. He soon took over all maintenance for the company before moving into sales and dispatch while attending school for accounting. In 1998, Joe was elected president when his father, Jim Kobussen retired. Joe graduated from Kaukauna High School, earned a degree as an auto technician and diesel technician, and then moved into marketing and accounting, receiving various degrees from Fox Valley Technical College.

Dr. Lee Vogel joined Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency faculty in 1990 and was appointed to a new role as Executive Director of Mosaic Family Health, which was formed as the clinical home of the Residency Program. She is a Minnesota native and a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School. Following her Family Medicine residency and a two-year fellowship in Geriatrics at the University of California, San Diego, she was on the faculty for two years at UCSD before coming to Appleton. She served as Residency Program Director of the Fox Valley Residency Program from 1995 until 2002, at which time she became Campus Director, serving in a more comprehensive leadership role representing the Residency at the Medical School level and in creating enhanced collaboration between the Residency and the local community.
