The First Business Economic Survey is an annual project sponsored by First Business Bank and administered by Dr. Moses Altsech, faculty member at the University of Wisconsin School of Business and President of Moses Altsech Consulting, LLC.
The anonymous survey asks respondents to evaluate the current performance and predict future trends of their businesses on eight key economic indicators: sales revenue, operating costs, capital expenditures, profitability, staffing, wages, pricing, and operating capacity. The local results are provided to the public in a complimentary report and event-based format as a value-added service by First Business Bank.
First Business Bank has been conducting the economic survey for over 15 years. The 2018 survey covers Dane County, Northeast Wisconsin, and the Greater Milwaukee Area, as well as Kansas City.
