In this podcast, get the results of the 2013 First Business Economic Survey, administered by the A.C. Nielsen Center for Marketing Research at the University of Wisconsin. This is an annual survey of business owners, CEOs, and CFOs at companies with five or more employees in Northeast Wisconsin, Dane County, Milwaukee County, and Waukesha County. Results include 2013 actual and 2014 predicted: sales revenue, total operating costs, capital expenditures, profitability, number of employees, changes in wages, and changes in pricing. This New North Summit breakout session will also include a live panel discussion with local business leaders on economic trends in Northeast Wisconsin.

Panelists:

  • Darwin Copeman, CEO of Jewelers Mutual Insurance
  • Craig Dickman, CEO of Breakthrough Fuel
  • Ben Griggs, CEO of Aarrowcast, Inc.

The results are presented by Dennis Winters of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development and the panel discussion is moderated by Margaret LeBrun of Insight Publications.
