About Tom

Tom Dott has more than 25 years of retail and commercial banking experience. He helps First Business Bank clients by understanding their needs, concerns, and goals, and by mobilizing appropriate solutions and connections for each client. His areas of focus include advising family and privately owned businesses on their comprehensive banking needs including deposits, treasury management, financial risk management, international banking, employee retirement plans, and personal wealth management. Tom also serves as chair of the First Business Bank manufacturing industry practice group. Tom graduated from Ripon College in 1990 and enjoyed a four-year college baseball career pitching for the Red Hawks.

Tom is very active in the community, presently serving as the Board Chair of the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin and as a board member of the United Way of Cane County Foundation. Previously, Tom served on the Board of Directors of the Henry Vilas Park Zoological Society and was involved in several major capital projects there including the Children’s Zoo renovation, the animal health center, and the Arctic Passage. Tom has received a number of community awards including Leadership Greater Madison’s Leader of the Year in 2001 and AFP’s Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year in 2010.
