Steve Peterson is a Managing Director and Co-founder of $42 million private equity firm Brass Ring Capital. He has 20 years of experience in private equity investments, investment banking and money management. Steve manages Brass Ring’s Milwaukee office, and currently serves on the boards of portfolio companies American Finishing Resources and Nationwide Learning. Paul Schueller is the founder and current CEO of Franklin Energy, a consulting firm that specializes in the delivery of energy efficiency programs for utility clients.

Previous to starting Franklin Energy, Paul was a managing partner of an energy services company with offices in Washington D.C., Los Angeles, and Milwaukee. Tim Keane has been involved in dozens of ownership transitions. He is the Director of Golden Angels Investors, LLC, one of the region’s most active groups. He is now also a partner at Keane D’Souza Venture Capital. Prior to this, he was the founder and CEO of RTMS, Inc. a $20MM software company in the retail industry. He is an active director on several portfolio company boards as well as a director of FBB-Milwaukee.

Jim DeJong is the President of O’Neil, Cannon, Hollman, DeJong & Laing S.C. and a member of the Business Law Group. Jim’s business law practice is diverse. He is experienced in successfully guiding clients through a wide variety of matters from forming and financing business entities to negotiating and documenting complex business transactions. He frequently represents buyers and sellers of businesses. Jim also has extensive experience working with clients on corporate governance matters.
