Brookfield, WI, – July 28, 2014 – First Business is pleased to announce Lifesong as the winner of the Milwaukee-area’s 2014 First Business Invitational for Charity. The nonprofit organization will receive a check for $18,000 thanks to local business leaders Tim Wallen of MLG Capital and David Nash who participated in and won the “winner takes all” First Business Invitational for Charity golf event at Westmoor Country Club today. The event was designed with two person teams competing in a best ball format for the local charity of their choice. First Business covers 100 percent of the event costs.

“This is truly a unique event,” stated Dave Vetta, President and CEO of First Business Bank – Milwaukee. “It’s great to be here to witness the competitive nature of these business leaders, and see that applied to their passion for local nonprofits.” After the tournament, profit and non-profit business leaders met at a reception at Westmoor Country Club while the results were verified.

“Thank you to First Business for bringing this event to Milwaukee” added Tim Wallen, of MLG Capital. “It is a great opportunity to showcase organizations that people are passionate about and to also have fun while making a difference.”
