Four Charities Win at 2018 First Business Invitational for Charity in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE, WIS. July 31, 2018 First Business Bank is pleased to announce the winning nonprofits and golfers who played for them in the 2018 First Business Invitational for Charity in Milwaukee. Winning golfers and charities from the event yesterday at Blue Mound Golf & Country Club include:

First Place: St. Marcus School is the winner of the 2018 First Business Invitational for Charity. The nonprofit organization received a check for $12,000 thanks to the team of Mark Ciborowski & John Stanislowski, sponsored by Mark Ciborowski, who placed first in this year’s competitive play.

The remaining winners include:

3rd – $3,000 Waukesha County Community Dental Clinic Mark Meloy & Dave Seiler, sponsored by First Business
4th – $2,000 Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Wisconsin Chapter Greg Jones & Ken Kurszewski, sponsored by Dave Jones, Inc. & Hottmann Construction Co.

 

The winning charity, St. Marcus Lutheran School in Milwaukee, was founded in 1872 and serves more than 900 students from Kindergarten through 8th grade.

The First Business Invitational for Charity is a forum where local competitors golf for a local charity of their choice. The event was designed with two-person teams competing in a best ball format. First Business Bank covers 100 percent of the event costs.
