First Business Bank Introduces TECH FIRST
A Pitch Event Matching Tech Companies to Investors

KANSAS CITY – September 10, 2018 –  First Business Bank, a member of the First Business Financial Services, Inc., (Nasdaq: FBIZ) family of companies, is pleased to announce the inaugural TECH FIRST event scheduled for September 14, 2018 to the Kansas City technology sector. This popular event is sold out, however members of the media are invited to attend.

TECH FIRST is a forum providing Kansas City tech companies an opportunity to pitch to like-minded, tech-focused investors. First Business Bank’s Emerging Tech Industry Practice Group is bringing investors representing more than 10 funds from outside KC to hear about opportunities in the local market. Twelve companies will present their investment opportunities.

“We’re excited to bring in out-of-state investors from Milwaukee, Chicago, and St. Louis to check out the KC startup scene and learn more about local companies seeking funding,” says Rob Barker, Kansas City Market President of First Business Bank. “First Business Bank has established a reputation as a startup player in Wisconsin, connecting tech companies to funding, and helping them grow, so we’re planting that flag in the ground here in Kansas City, as well.”
