Date Set For 5th Annual First Business Invitational For Charity

MADISON, WI, – Aug. 10, 2015 – First Business Financial Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: FBIZ) is hosting its fifth annual First Business Invitational for Charity  event on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Hawk’s Landing Golf Club located at 88 Hawks Landing Circle in Verona.

This event was designed for local business leaders with a serious competitive drive, the desire to be on a winning team, and compassion for local charities. We asked our players to choose their company’s A-Team, select their favorite local charity, and come prepared to compete. First Business has committed to covering 100% of the event costs.

“This event combines two great qualities of business leaders: the competitive spirit and the desire to make a difference,” says Mark Meloy, President and CEO of First Business Bank.

Last year’s winning duo of Mike Gustafson and Glen Weyenberg of SBA Certified Public Accountants received $39,000 for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. LLS is the largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding research, finding cures, and ensuring access to treatments for blood cancer patients.”We are so glad we finally won for our charity,” said Mike Gustafson of SVA Certified Public Accountants. “It was a great day! Such a good event and fun concept.”Additional prizes were given out last year, including a check for $1,500 to Susan G. Koman South Central Wisconsin, played for by Steven Yeko of The Diamond Center and Jack Bussa of S&J 515 Gammon LLC.

The First Business Invitational registration will start at 11:00 am, with a welcome and introduction by First Business and Hawk’s Landing Golf Club at 12:00 pm, and a shotgun start on the golf course at 12:30 pm. Golfers and spectators can follow the progress on the course through an online leader board accessible via computer or smart phone the day of the event.
