8th Annual Manufacturing First Expo & Conference Features Keynote Speaker Bob Chapman

GREEN BAY, WI — Sept. 28, 2018 – The 8th annual Manufacturing First Expo and Conference will be held October 24 at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay. The event, created by First Business Bank, is designed for Wisconsin manufacturers to showcase industry advances, highlight successes, announce the latest developments, and provide premier networking opportunities.

“We’re energized for Manufacturing First,” said Rick Hearden, President of the Northeast Wisconsin Market for First Business Bank. “As the originators of the event, it’s so gratifying to witness manufacturers displaying their latest innovations and making connections to improve their businesses, investing in the future of our economy in Wisconsin.”

“Manufacturing plays such a vital role in our region’s economy and Manufacturing First provides an excellent opportunity for those working in the sector to come together and learn about the latest industry trends while also making personal connections with others in the industry,” said Ann Franz, Executive Director of the NEW Manufacturing Alliance.

More than 1,000 attendees are expected at Manufacturing First, which features special presentations, 12 breakout sessions, an expo hall with more than 180 exhibitors, and multiple networking opportunities for attendees. The event’s keynote speaker is Bob Chapman, the CEO and Chairman of Barry-Wehmiller, a $2 billion capital equipment and engineering solutions firm, which includes Paper Converting Machine Co. in Green Bay. Chapman will share his Truly Human Leadership philosophy and creating a place where employees want to work.
