FIRST BUSINESS ECONOMIC SURVEY RESULTS
Listen to this podcast for a first look at the results of our 2017 First Business Economic Survey. With 15 years of data from local business leaders in Dane County, the First Business Economic Survey reflects local executives’ assessments of 2017 financial performance and their predictions for 2018. You’ll find out what business leaders are saying about 2017 and 2018 anticipated sales, capital expenditures, profitability, hiring, wage changes, capacity and more, and compare those numbers to years past.
Dr. Moses Altsech, president of Altsech Consulting and lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will highlight the 2017 survey results. Following the presentation, Wendy Warren Grapentine, former Madison news anchor and owner of Straight to the Point Communications, LLC., will moderate a panel discussion with local business leaders on the economic climate of Dane County. This year’s panelists include:
Corey Chambas – President & CEO, First Business Financial Services, Inc.
Mike Victorson – President & CEO, M3 Insurance
Jane Young – Co-Owner, Wiedenbeck
Nate Herbst – CEO, WTS Paradigm
Jay Loewi – Owner, The QTI Group, Inc.
The annual First Business Economic Survey, in its 15th year in Dane County, is sponsored by First Business and conducted and analyzed by Dr. Moses Altsech of Moses Altsech Consulting. Ten years ago, the survey expanded to include Milwaukee and Waukesha counties, as well as Northeast Wisconsin.
